– Per an analysis of page views, there's no primary topic. The page views show that Hedda (2025 film) and Hedda Gabler are very similar in page views; however, Hedda (2025 film) is based off Hedda Gabler, an entry on Hedda (disambiguation), leaving the claim that there's no primary topic seems to seemingly be the safer option here. (Either way, the page views show that the given name article Hedda surely is not the primary topic.) If you just stretch the same graph to all-time, this is glaring WP:Recentism. How about we reassess this situation after the dust settles a little bit? Making about a hundred readers a month go through a hatnote isn't a gigantic issue either way. --Joy (talk) 07:26, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

Thanks, that was the shortcut I wanted to link but forgot (WP:RECENTISM): I'd say associating "Hedda" with the 2025 film definitely is WP:RECENTISM, but associating "Hedda" with Hedda Gabler doesn't seem to be. Steel1943 (talk) 14:11, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

I'm not sure the average reader sees an anthroponymy index like this one, where there is very little extra information, as something distinct from a disambiguation page, both are just lists largely aimed at navigation. Looking at WikiNav, I'd expect most of the 132 filtered clickstreams to be going to the biographies, so together with the 68 going to the character biography, most of the readership would take an interest in the biographies. But, it's hard to prove at this point. If we move the list of people to the side, I would expect that this contingent of reader clicks becomes more measurable, at a cost of an extra click. --Joy (talk) 11:45, 5 October 2025 (UTC)

WikiNav for Hedda now indicates most clicks go to a 2025 movie, so my recentism concern seems warranted. Last three months:
