No discussion of Heck could be complete without talk of Gosh and his son Jeepers.

Onomatopoeia

-canis lupus familiaris may make a noise similar to heck, usually delivered sharply and with a shake of the head. -felis catus may also make this sound as well, but it will usually be drawn out or with separated e sounds.
