lack of indicated author or affiliation

[edit]

I am looking at some WHO HMN reports on the web, and unlike Lancet or CMAJ, there are no authors indicated let alone the authors affiliations or whether they are consultants for ministries in the member nations.

It is quite a worrisome phenomenon given who quotes these reports and where.

It is normal for WHO related publications to not site authorship. In fact up until the beginning of the Brundtland era, no WHO publications openly listed authors.

A bot identified a linkage between this article and this site. I think it was triggered because both have multi-words agency names such as

  • The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
  • Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization

and others.

I didn't find anything that required rewriting (for copyright reasons).--SPhilbrick(Talk) 20:28, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
