[edit]

This article is just filled to the brim with superlatives and sales-speak.

In 2015, HawkEye 360 began with the vision for how space and RF technology could create commercially generated insights by leveraging signal geolocation to enhance understanding of human activities.
HawkEye 360 has an extensive advisory board including former members of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, retired Army and Air Force general officers, and former Intelligence Community leaders.
In April, HawkEye 360 released the company’s first product: RFGeo. This product identifies and locates the RF signals HawkEye 360 collects, so customers can then view this data to have a “more comprehensive view of the world," says John Serafini.
There is also an opportunity to more effectively plan the ever-expanding spectrum, as monitoring spectrum usage will allow for planners to see in advance which areas have the highest density of RF activity and how spectrum resources can be dynamically deployed for use in that area.[32] Monitoring could also eventually enable telecommunications firms to more easily determine which bands are under-utilized in order to more efficiently deploy spectrum resources.

I'm not sure I would have accepted this for creation by a WP:COI editor (it was authored by one, User:Elizabethmassey) without substantial revision. The work required to make this NPOV would be a complete rewrite. Should we take this to AfD? FalconK (talk) 23:58, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Fixed. With the promotional material removed, you're welcome to re-review the article, but from what I saw of the references it seems like it would pass WP:GNG. Honestly not bothered if you send it to AFD, though. Primefac (talk) 14:59, 29 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Satellite dimensions but what mass

[edit]

Company press kit for cluster 6 says "HawkEye 360’s next-gen satellites are approximately 30x30x45 cm, about the size of a microwave, and hold two payloads each.", but don't seem to give a mass.
Electron flights flight 33 Jan 2023 says 40kg for the cluster of 3 sats. but it's not confirmed in either ref. - Rod57 (talk) 22:22, 5 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
