Medical research ethics on Wikipedia
[edit]Eventually someone from or associated with this organization will want to develop Wikipedia articles on medical ethics. When that happens contact me please - let's collaborate. Blue Rasberry (talk) 18:20, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
One source tag
[edit]I removed this tag. There was no discussion here, and 12 of 30 references in the article appear to come from sources other than The Hastings Center. Lou Sander (talk) 14:23, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
Proposal to change name of page
[edit]the organization changed its name to "The Hastings Center for Bioethics". This is a much more descriptive name, as there are so many institutions and places with "Hastings". The new name is used in the article, but not the title. I think it should be.
Harvey Motulsky, I am on the board of The Hastings Center for Bioethics

The Hastings Center → The Hastings Center for Bioethics – The article text and the organization's current name use "The Hastings Center for Bioethics" ~2025-39471-75 (talk) 16:22, 9 December 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. - Neutral, but remove the definite article per WP:THE. Hastings Center or Hastings Center for Bioethics. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:26, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
- Note: WikiProject New York (state), WikiProject Organizations, WikiProject Hudson Valley, and WikiProject Medicine have been notified of this discussion. Vestrian24Bio 12:15, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
- Support Per their website, it shows that their name is the later, therefore as said by Necrothesp with respect to WP:THE, Hastings Center for Bioethics would be a better suited article name.
