Death notice

Brasenose College has announced Harry's death:

"It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Dr Harry Judge, Emeritus Fellow. He had been in hospital and slipped away very peacefully on Tuesday morning. Harry was elected the first Professorial Fellow in Education at Brasenose in 1973, and had been an immensely valued and well-loved figure in College since that time. He was director of the Department of Educational Studies at Oxford from 1973 to 1988, and honorary president of the Oxford Education Society."
