The following individuals are listed in one or more histories, and might be notable enough for an article:

Merge proposal

[edit]

I propose merging Hadjo into Harjo. These articles are two different spellings of the same Mvskoke word, which has also been spelled Haco, that serves a as war title and surname, but Harjo is overwhelmingly more commonly used. Yuchitown (talk) 20:36, 21 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Donald Albury, Uyvsdi, PigeonChickenFish, and Neelix:, since you have contributed or created these articles. Yuchitown (talk) 20:38, 21 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
I have no objection. There were fewer articles for people with the title "Hadjo" than I anticipated, so the list is pretty sparse. A preliminary search for sources for the people with red-links was unsuccessful, and I haven't pursued them. I did want to emphasize the use as a title and not a surname among 19th century Seminoles, after finding this version of Tustenuggee. Donald Albury 21:15, 21 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
It's been a week. Should I go and ahead merge? Yuchitown (talk) 15:01, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yes, feel free to go ahead; it seems a fairly clear case. Klbrain (talk) 10:51, 2 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
I think if we waited for an independent party to close the discussion, we'd wait forever, so I performed the merge. You'll probably want to refine the combined article, Donald. Thanks, Yuchitown (talk) 15:53, 7 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
