Author’s pseudonym

Is there a reason why this author chooses to go by “Ma” instead of his real surname? I initially did a double-take upon seeing this page because I assumed the author was Chinese, and it’d be very weird if an Asian wrote a book openly advocating white accelerationism. No clue. Perhaps like William Luther Pierce he did it for no clear reason, or thought it sounded cooler (two syllables is more snappy, perhaps). I've never seen a particular reason from him or in any source about him, in any case. PARAKANYAA (talk) 06:32, 26 May 2025 (UTC)

Lead

The content removals make the lead too short per WP:LEADLENGTH: "Few well-written leads will be shorter than about 100 words. The leads in most featured articles contain about 250 to 400 words." It isn't "gibberish" or AI generated (?) and whitewashing the book's extremely violent content is a NPOV issue. None of it is superfluous, it describes in order, 1) the publication background 2) the plot of the book, 3) the themes and content of the book and its analysis in academic circles 4) the groups the book is popular with. Per MOS:NOVEL and WP:LEAD the book's lead should describe what is relevant to it, which includes these elements, which in scholarly sources focus on these elements. That you personally don't like the topic or the article is no reason to remove content about it. The text is not copy pasted from the body so I don't know where you're getting that. What content are you taking issue with? If there's a specific sentence, we can change it, but making it a poor summary of the article makes it a poor lead and it isn't copy pasted from the body. Again, academics are really the only valid source for this, and the specific ones are mentioned in the body, in accordance with WP:LEAD. If your issue is the word "hallucination"... sure, we can remove it? But that is the word the sources use.PARAKANYAA (talk) 08:27, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
