Talk:Hamilton Fincups

Renaming article

I suggest the article be renamed, as the Fincups never actually played in the OHL. The article is also a combined recount of the Fincups years in Hamilton and St. Catharines.

I propose:

• Fincups hockey club or
• Fincups junior hockey club or
• Hamilton and St. Catharines Fincups

• How about just Fincups? It seems pretty unlikely that anything else will ever compete for that article space. Alternately I prefer moving it to Hamilton Fincups, since the St. Cats year only happened because of an emergency (it was late August before they found out they were moving). • I did a Google search for "Fincup," the results include a Finnish Cup competition, that might be wikiworthy. Flibirigit 15:49, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

• I don't like Fincups (OMJHL) because most people have never heard of the OMJHL. Heck, even I hadn't heard of it before a couple months ago. I think that Hamilton/St. Catharines Fincups is probably the best idea. BoojiBoy 15:50, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

• I like your other idea better. Hamilton Fincups would be simpler, more recognizable, and many wikilinks already exist to that name.
