According to the notability guidelines, any artist who has had a charted hit on a national music chart is notable. Halou fulfills this criterion, as one of the references I provided show, and I think this is a first step toward expanding the article. In any case, it's enough to show that Halou is a notable band. Therefore, I removed both the notability and reference notices, but I'm not certain it's proper procedure to remove them so quickly. If it's not, someone else can review and/or revert changes. The first paragraph of the History section is riddled with false claims and factual errors.
-Ryan never played guitar in anomie.
-Rebecca never stopped liking riot grrrl music
-anomie was never successful
-the band didn’t split into two bands and thinner (the citation) ended when Ryan joined anomie
-the name anymore did not come from “we are not anomie anymore.”

this is correct, Ryan never played guitars in the band Anomie. he had an electronic drum set which he played along to drums and keyboards programmed by Jeremy.
the band had been working on songs for about a year before Rebecca asked to try out.
before moving to SF in 1994, anomie was doing very well in Santa Cruz, playing at packed venues and getting a lot of buzz and interest. moving to the city was a bad decision for the group in a number of ways.
in 1995 when the friction between band members got too much, they did indeed split into two bands. the main musical songwriters continued playing with a replacement vocalist as The Bitter End, later becoming Faded.
Ryan and Rebecca formed "anymore" - i think the above confusion with the name was from an early flier for a show they played which was originally booked as Anomie. the flier stated "We're not Anomie, Anymore."
