In the section Overview, subsection Etymology, please change

"such as Swedish: här" to "such as Swedish: hår"

as the word "här" is incorrect and has a completely different meaning.

To verify, I suggest checking the name of the linked article for hair in Swedish ("svenska") which is "Hår", or check this translation by google translate:

Who is the FIA?

It describes the FIA hair system, but does not indicate what the FIA is. Can someone please try to find it? (Google isn’t helping me and I would add this as a {{Missing information}}, but the page is semi-protected and I just made this account because I forgot my password.) There's two different ways that "protein filament" can be interpreted. The lead uses “protein filament” in the macroscopic/material sense (“a filament shaped biological structure composed of cells containing keratin proteins”), but the hyperlink points to the cytoskeletal definition (“microscopic protein polymer filaments found within cells”). Linking to the cytoskeletal page is misleading and does not match the meaning used in context.

Hair is ~75 µm wide (0.003 inches) and composed of many keratinised epithelial cells while a single cytoskeletal "protein filament" of hard keratin is ~10 nm wide (0.0000029 inches wide). The linked page describes the latter, not the former. Operculumbooglaloo (talk) 06:03, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
