MISSE-21 payload
[edit]I've removed content about MISSE payload (added rev.1318992571) because of concerns about the reliability of the source provided, which is a linkedin post from an aerospace company.
- Does a self-published social media post from an involved contractor count as a reliable source?
- The source claims delivery of MISSE-21 to NASA, but does not offer confirmation that it was subsequently loaded aboard HTV-X1. Delays could occur later in the process, beyond involvement of this company.
- The same company previously claimed in an instagram post that MISSE-21 was scheduled for launch on SpaceX CRS-32 – evidently it was not, so they have been wrong about this before.
- I was not able to find anything from NASA, JAXA or other independent sources to verify that this payload is onboard HTV‑X1. By contrast, the JAXA mission presskit specifically lists NORS and RST as NASA payloads carried.
Furthermore, the specific nature of the experiments was also not supported by the source.
More authoritative sourcing regarding this payload would be appreciated.
