Screen Alignment Problem

A permanent solution to the screen alignment problem. Just slide out the keyboard. There are 2 screws that you can see on the back side of the Wizard. Just loosen the screws up and make sure they are not too tight. There, that will solve the screen alignment problem for ever.

Software

Be sure you only install Windows Mobile 5.0 compatible software into your mobile to avoid problems. Non-compatible software may cause your mobile to crash and you may be unable to start it. In such situation only a hardreset will bring your mobile back to life again. It's preferable to make backups of your mobile at regular basis. Currently only available backup compatible utility to make complete backups is Sunnysoft Backup Manager 3.7.

ROM

The HTC Wizard has many variations as mentioned above and since all the companies that sell the product have their own version of ROM. All these [ROM]s are Windows Mobile 5.0 version. Till date no campany has released a WM6 version of ROM. There are a few cooked ROM which are WM6 out there. One of the noted one's being Faria's ROM. Though these cooked ROMs have been used by many enthusiasts, they have not been certified by any governing agency and hence may or may not be safe to use. Most of these ROMs provide many third party applications built-in and hence save a lot of space on your RAM.
