Preferred article title
[edit]I did a quick scan of the papers listed in Simbad for this star and found several titles calling it HR 178, none using the HD designation. No doubt it will be listed in some catalogues under the HD name because they use HD designations for everything, but studies dedicated to this star or a small number of stars seem to prefer HR. This is likely time-dependant though. More recent studies are more likely to use "deeper" designations as they provide greater coverage, although I still haven't found even recent papers devoted to this star using the HD designation. I have reverted to the HR title for now. At best, any name change needs more discussion. Lithopsian (talk) 14:53, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
