"the calculator is always the active controller."

But is it also always the active receiver or sender? Were there situations where data was sent from one peripheral to another without being stored and forwarded on the controller? What about non-calculator situations, could one disk drive send data directly to another, for instance, or did the host always mediate? Maury Markowitz (talk) 15:18, 19 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
