Maybe, one day, but the WP:SHIPS guidelines are that if the article is shorter than the infobox (and right now it is significantly so) then it should remain as one article, with the other incarnations of that ship being redirects to the main article. It's probably unlikely that there will be a vast amount to say about either phase of the ship's existence so one article is really all that's needed.
