An interesting naming conundrum - "M33", "M.33", "M 33" all have authorities, and there seems not be consensus on the ship prefix. Just to make things super-confusing, there is a Miles M.33 Monitor aircraft too! Stan 13:54, 4 Mar 2004 (UTC)

A different question for style control. As she is not now a commissioned RN vessel, yet her name is "HMS M33", should the current name be rendered HMS M33 rather than HMS M33? That does not affect the article name as she is most notable for her WW1 action. Davidships (talk) 07:20, 12 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
