Did you know nomination

  • Evans also worked on the record as its producer. “Originally we were gonna do this album as a duo,” says Greep, “We’d been chatting about it for years doing our own thing, we were gonna call it The New Sound as like two dudes, Hall & Oates kind of thing, doing each other’s songs. But when we got into the process of it I had ten songs and he had one or two, so we thought, alright let’s save that for another time and I’ll do this as my album with him producing it, we work on it, call it The New Sound and it sets up this sort of thing if we wanna do it again anyway.”
  • ALT1: ... that by HMLTD's own admission, Seth Evans was the only skilled musician in the band?

  • Though, by their own admission, all but trained musician and keys player Seth Evans, “are not very skilled musicians,” as Sarantaris puts it, they wanted to work with as many highly accomplished players as they could, while also pushing their own abilities.
  • ALT2: ... that Seth Evans adopted the nickname "Shank" after Geordie Greep told him "You should be called Shank" with no context?

  • What’s the origin of your nickname “Shank?”
  • Honestly, it’s not really that interesting of a story. I think we were on our way back from performing at Green Man Festival a few years ago. We were in the car when Geordie turned to me and said, ‘You should be called Shank’ And that was that! There was absolutely no context. I was a little resistant at first but then I sort of came around to it. I think it’s all good fun now.

  • Article is new enough (as it was expanded from a redirect on 27 June and nominated on the same day) and long enough, and everything is sourced. Earwig also shows no issues. I have run the iabot to archive the sources. All three hooks are interesting, though I think ALT1 is the most interesting. All hooks are in the article and verified by the sources provided. No QPQ is required. This is good to go, well done! DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 21:10, 21 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
