@Peter coxhead: William Griffith is a DAB page. The authority seems to have been Griff. in 1849 (not 1947), who had nothing to do with Polypodium dareiforme. IPNI link. Narky Blert (talk) 11:18, 29 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Narky Blert: a catalogue of errors on my part. The dab link is a plain mistake, as is the date. The others were caused, I think, by copying and pasting an outline stub from an non-monotypic genus, when the type species is more usually the one the genus was erected for, but I should have noticed the authority.
