Apparent edits by Guy Aoki
[edit]User:75.58.248.184 Edited the article with the Edit Summary: "corrected the quote that it's OK to use racist words in satire and be done, corrected last paraphrased paragraph and added info about what I said before Silverman admitted racism exists, etc." I reverted it for the following reasons: First, the quotes are taken directly from a transcript of the episode from ABC's site for Politically Incorrect. None were provided for this new edit, and Wikipedia requires cited sources. The "added info" was not sourced, and if the editor in question is indeed Mr. Aoki himself, he should be made aware that this constitutes Original Research, which is strictly forbidden on Wikipedia. Second, The incident occurred "weeks prior" was changed to "a few weeks ago". This is not appropriate or consistent for an article written years after the fact in a third-person manner. Lastly, Wikipedia expressly frowns autobiographical edits, with only some exceptions. For further information on this, please see Wikipedia:Autobiography.Nightscream 04:16, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- His version of events in the link is ridiculous. Does he live in a dream world or what? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.172.186.128 (talk) 01:08, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
