The Boulton Paul Bourges IIIB had gull wings (or at least an upper one) back in 1920/21 - see here:

– Insufficient disambiguation with the dabpage (Gull-wing, also Gullwing.) Unlikely to be the primary topic. Move dabpage to its simplest name. 162 etc. (talk) 16:49, 28 February 2024 (UTC)  Relisting. BD2412 T 16:31, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Stuka’s defining feature?

[edit]

I very much disagree that the most defining feature of the Stuka is its inverted gull wing. The most distinctive feature is most certainly the Jericho trumpets.

I think that either the Stuka and its information should be replaced with something more like the Vought F4U Corsair, or it should just be removed entirely. Wellifailed (talk) 16:57, 29 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

This is attributed to Manfred Griehl in the article. Feel free to cite other authors who offer a different viewpoint.
I've removed the mention from the lead though, it doesn't need to be in the article twice. 162 etc. (talk) 19:08, 29 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
