GA Reassessment

[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch

It's clear that this article has not been maintained over time. It was promoted in 2006 and

  1. (In the early 20th century, non-branded gasoline in the United States was often contaminated or of unreliable quality). - unsourced, as is the next paragraph under it
  2. The whole GOC(EH) edifice now became highly marginal in an economic sense. -- weasel worded and unsourced
  3. Gulf No-Nox gasoline was promoted with a bucking horse leaving an imprint of two horseshoes. -- unsourced and doesn't seem relevant
  4. Several [citation needed] tags in the "demise" header
  5. Bare links in the "aftermath" header
  6. "Revival" header and "Gulf Products" header have a {{refimprove}}
  7. "Pennsylvania Turnpike" has a {{unreferenced}}

Pinging @Srikeit: who promoted the article way back in 2006. The most prominent editor of the page left the project in 2009. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 21:50, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Agree that unless those issues are resolved it should be delisted. Gusfriend (talk) 10:45, 23 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Gusfriend: have the issues been resolved? If they haven't then feel free to delist. Onegreatjoke (talk) 19:00, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
TenPoundHammer should be pinged, as they initiated the GAR. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 19:20, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
