In "Religious Sites"...
[edit]First of all, I am quite new to this, so please excuse/let me know about any mistakes I make. So in "Religious Sites" it is mentioned that " Somnath is the first of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and is mentioned in the Rigveda." And, it doesn't have any source nor anything else. I tried knowing a bit about it but it just circled me back to the same page. Afaik, none of them is a proven fact... Ace000000 (talk) 11:30, 8 November 2024 (UTC)

The link in the section "Music" under the title "Gadhavi" redirect to the Charan community, which has already been linked in the "Charan" link 2 words after. Creative10-13 (talk) 19:33, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. I appreciate your good faith. Just wrong format.(3OpenEyes's talk page. Say hi!) | (PS: Have a good day) 20:48, 6 January 2025 (UTC)

Poorly ranked due to religious violence removal
[edit]This phrase was removed by me is it need not be on the lead of the page. It is sourced, however the the a contrasting input had been already put by me, which was removed by @RegentsPark without explanation. - @Pawapuri Winds: as I clearly explained in my edit summary, you were removing sourced information without using the talk page to attempt to get consensus. Please try to do so in future.RegentsPark (comment) 00:45, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, this is why I opened this conversation. I have removed it because the source is reasonably old and I update it with a more recent information to keep the page updated. Can you please explain why did you put in disambiguation link for Patan which I had changed to redirect to Patan city? Pawapuri Winds (talk) 01:39, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- The reality is that, on the face of it, your edit appears to be a POV edit because you're removing well sourced negative information about the state. But, I'll let someone else deal with that. The disambiguation link probably crept in when I reverted your edit and you should point the link to the correct place.RegentsPark (comment) 02:12, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- I believe the editor who added that information was pushing a point of view, or perhaps it has simply remained there for a long time without being updated. In any case, the state has not witnessed any significant incidents of religious violence in the past 10 years. It is highly unfair to highlight such information in the lead section of the article. For comparison, according to a Pew Research report, there were 46,728 deaths due to gun violence in the United States in yr 2023, a figure that is likely higher than in Afghanistan, Syria, or Pakistan, yet this is not mentioned in the lead of the United States article. - I am still working on this page and will try best to improve it. There are many pictures in the page which are repeating, I will be removing them and replacing with other interesting place. Thanks :) Pawapuri Winds (talk) 01:50, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
