I looked up tremella deliquescens on the web and it isn't really a flower but a fungus that grows in orange/red jelly like domes on rotting logs and trees. Strange flower.

First sentence

[edit]

"... is named after places...?" Is this right? John Carter 00:48, 1 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think what they're trying to say is the Gudula can be called "Gudula of Moorsel", "Gudula of Brussels" or "Gudula of Eibingen". The wording is very bad; I would propose removing that entire first sentence, as all those places are mentioned later and understood to be significant to her veneration.
