Notability
[edit]Groovesect is a completely significant, reputable, and distinguished funk group from New Orleans with several credible sources matching Wikipedia's criteria, including national tours, nationally aired radio performances, national news articles, and members who have played with some of the greatest legends in American music. I have tried to phrase it all in a way that is fitting of your requirements and in no way a blatant advertisement/promotion for this band.
I see countless other band profiles with less significance than Groovesect.
I have listed appropriate references, news articles, etc.
What more do I need to do?
Furthermore, this article meets all of these Widipedia requirements of the 'criteria for musicians and ensembles' and thouroughly sites its' resources:
1) It has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician/ensemble itself and reliable
4) Has received non-trivial coverage in a reliable source of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country
6) Contains at least one member who was once a part of or later joined a band that is otherwise notable; note that it is often most appropriate to use redirects in place of articles on side projects, early bands and such, and that commonsense exceptions always apply.
7) Has become the most prominent representative of a notable style or of the local scene of a city; note that the subject must still meet all ordinary Wikipedia standards
10) Has performed music for a work of media that is notable, e.g. a theme for a network television show, performance in a television show or notable film, inclusion on a compilation album, etc.
11) Has been placed in rotation nationally by any major radio network.
