Same Greg Carlson?

Currently I have found two photos of "Greg Carlson": one is a photo from a terrible newspaper scan. The second is far better but the provided source (Wabash college yearbook), says this "Greg Carlson" is a golf coach? Were there two different "Greg Carlsons" who were both coaches at the same college or is this a captioning error? I will add the verified photo to the article and leave the second photo for someone else to judge:

  A photo of "Greg Carlson", golf (?) coach at Wabash

I'll can look into this more closely, but I would bet Greg Carlson was the head golf coach at Wabash at the same time he was an assistant football coach under his predecessor as head football coach, Stan Parrish. Jweiss11 (talk) 20:52, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Just expanded the article a bit with some sources from Newspapers.com. Carlson also coached golf at Wabash. It's not unusual for an assistant football coach at a smaller school to also be the head coach of a minor sport like golf. This was often the case at bigger schools as well before World War II.
