The albums

[edit]

Well, I have created the pages of the band's albums, due to the lack of the above. But they all look like stubs, so it would be nice if someone would add more data. Thank you.

The Biography

[edit]

Not much is happening with the band nowadays, perhaps with the exception of the splitting. It would be nice if the biography-section could get a bit of an overhaul. I might check in on it later, but if anyone would care to do it it would be nice. --Coldfox 18:21, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Suggested expansion of A Dark Poem trilogy section

[edit]

I am affiliated with Metal Lair, which published the sources below, so I have a conflict of interest and am not editing the Green Carnation article directly.

Metal Lair conducted three interviews with Green Carnation vocalist Kjetil Nordhus during the releases of Parts I, II and III of A Dark Poem. These interviews contain first-hand information that may be useful for expanding the article’s currently brief section on the trilogy.

Nordhus discusses how the three albums were designed to work individually while also forming a unified trilogy, how musical themes introduced in the earlier records return later in the project, and how the concluding orchestral suite was developed to incorporate musical themes from across the trilogy.

Sources:

Part I interview: https://metallair.net/green-carnation-interview-a-dark-poem-trilogy/

Part II interview: https://metallair.net/green-carnation-sanguis-interview-kjetil-nordhus/

Part III interview: https://metallair.net/green-carnation-the-messiah-complex-interview/trilogy/

Metal Lair has also assembled the interviews, album coverage and official release information into a permanent reference archive:

I would appreciate an independent editor reviewing these sources and determining whether this material would be appropriate for expanding the trilogy section. Thank you. AlaraMinistryOfMetal (talk) 19:02, 30 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
