Plea to check British Patent 270 at British Library

[edit]

Sources for this article, even though I added one, are of less than desirable authority. I tracked down the number (270) of the British patent for the device, which would be an authoritative source for the name of the article. The British library has a list of patents, but there is no on-line version I can check:https://www.bl.uk/britishlibrary/~/media/subjects%20images/business/british_patents.pdf Would a London-based Wikipedian be kind enough to trot along to the British library to check the patent?Robert P. Merge article with Zograscope?

[edit]

The graphoscope seems very similar to another device, called a Zograscope. Would it be worth merging the two articles? (I'm sorry I do now know the Wikipedia protocol for proposing such a merger.)Robert P. O'Shea (talk) 13:41, 1 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
