Too many Yosemite images

Yes, there are gobs of granite domes in Yosemite, but we shouldn't make the article a love-fest for one American National Park. Other images? dino 17:11, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Exfoliation dome as the primary page for this information

Would there be any objections to making "Exfoliation dome" the primary entry for this article. Exfoliation dome is used much more widely, can be used to describe similar features in other types of rock, and is the best explanation for the geomorphology seen in the Yosemite Valley. Although the term "granite dome" does exists, it has fallen out of use and was replaced (by the original author) with the term "desert dome" to describe rounded masses of rock formed by prolonged exposure to desert climates (which is not the case with Half Dome). As that is a commercial website, I would think not. Commercial websites are typically designed to promote their product and make a sale (see the "Get a quote" link on the page) and not to provide unbiased information. Fails WP:reliable sources. Vsmith (talk) 19:43, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

Glacial action?

I seem to recall much was made of glacial action in the formation of Half Dome (& the Glacier Apron) when I visited Yosemite, yet there is no mention of that here - why?
