Plural of graben

[edit]

The correct german plural of Graben is "Gräben" and not Grabens. I'm not sure what word is commonly used as plural in the english literature. Consider changing the plural form to the correct german form if "Grabens" isn't an established term. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.114.252.53 (talk) 20:51, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

The use of 'grabens' as the plural form is well established in english geological literature, google scholar gives nearly 25,000 hits. Mikenorton (talk) 21:08, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Translation

[edit]

The translation as "grave" (Grab (n), pl. Gräber) is not correct. "trench" would be an alternative translation though.Spingineer (talk) 12:36, 12 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
