The Real Carver: Expansive or Minimal?

The NY Times says tht Raymond Carver’s widow is spearheading an effort to publish a volume of his stories pre-Lish.

And Carol Sklenicka of San Francisco, says she is the author of a biography of an unauthorized biography of Raymond Carver forthcoming from Scribner and plans to "tell the true story". ( See http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/books/article2681557.ece )
Was Carver just a front man for Lish ?

[edit]Surely for someone of Gish's prominence, someone who knows his work and has access to the books listed here can go through and footnote the plethora of uncited claims. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:38, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
