Clarify

Because Google did not own the googlemail.com domain? That would make no sense. Because they did not own the gmail.com domain? Then how would they use it elsewhere? Because they did not own the trademark in the EU? More plausible.
Doesn't excuse that badly phrased sentence above, please clarify, thanks. Ubcule (talk) 12:48, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
