Notes on the article

Geoffrey F some quick notes:

• Lead: "also called Gunderic and Gundowech". Fine for the lead, but we'll need to back this up in the body. A common solution for this type of article (because the names are often a complication, discussed by our sources) is to have a "Name" section which discusses whatever our best sources might discuss such as name variants, etymologies, or whatever they think is relevant. I think Gundowech might be from Gregory of Tours? I think I remember reading a philologist or linguist arguing that Gregory's interpretation was probably a distortion, and that Gundioc looks like an Alan name.
• Family Tree. We should make the line connecting to Gundohar a dotted line, because we don't really know their relationship.
• Ancestry. There are scholars who think we should not reject the idea of a descent from Athanaric, and in the end there is no conflict. He could be related to Gundohar and Athanaric.
