Name/Location of Gombi, Nigeria

Much confusion over the name/location of this town.
Google Earth and Google Maps call it Balda.
OpenMap maps calls it Gombi Fulani.
Bing Maps calls it Girei at large scale, Fulani at zoom in.
Yandex maps calls it Fulani.
Ovi Maps calls it Girei.
Geographical Names calls it Gombi Fulani.
Geographical Names and Google Earth have Gombi 94 km north at 11°01'N 12°48'E.
Need some local help to sort this out.
