In 2025, musician and photographer Michael Steven Wagner (performing as Pain Waves), a former employee on Goldhouse's "I Get Around Tour," publicly alleged that their pay was reduced to $5 a day early in the tour due to a purported "lost laser light." This reportedly resulted in a month of starvation and excessive work at the hands of the band and tour manager. Mike claimed that their parents provided no support or transportation home, compelling them to complete the tour. They further stated that they were required to abstain from cannabis, which they described as therapeutic for their developmental disabilities. During the tour, the hashtag "#shitmikesays" was allegedly created by Grant Harris, who gloated about his follower count in the van, while tweeting to harass and document Mike's statements amid the unfolding events. At the tour's conclusion, tour manager Justin Sawyer (also associated with Sleepwave) reportedly jumped on Mike's back, initiating a back injury that left Mike unable to work less than two years later. Mike noted that they are now further disabled, attributing this to continued exploitation by their parents, while Goldhouse has maintained a strong presence on music platforms despite the alleged mistreatment.[1][2][3][4][5]Painwavesband (talk)References - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsPjtL3rf7k
