References to Vrindavana vs. Gokul

[edit]

It appears that some of the references (of defeating the Kaliya Nag and lifting Mount Govardhan) are actually references to Vrindavan, not Gokul. As stated clearly in the Harivamsa and Bhagwat Puranas, Krishna convinced the Gokul residents to abandon Gokul and relocate to Vrindavan. The incidents of defeating Kaliya Nag and lifting Mount Govardhan are AFTER the relocation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.192.219.201 (talk) 22:53, 26 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
