[edit]First sentence is sourced to 1 but most of the specific claims in the sentence are not found there (governance, security, public intellectual, etc.)
Source 2 is page not found. Cannot evaluate 3 due to paywall but title looks reasonable.
Early life and education cites 1 and 4. 1 includes an additional MA from Northwestern which is not mentioned in article. 4 has nothing about education but could be cited for "born in Kenya" in which case move cite to that sentence.
The sentence starting "As Executive Secretary" is completely unsupported by 7 which is about Murunga's views of CODESRIA's mission, and not about Murunga's duties at all.
I can't check the sentence sourced to 8 but it has a vague LLM feel to it. The sentence sourced to 9 says he has written opinion pieces, plural, but is sourced to just one--this is a very common LLM mistake.
References 10 and 11 are the exact same source reached by two different paths.
The sentence attached to reference 12 is hopelessly vague and really has nothing to do with the concrete focus of that interview, which is about views of masculinity.
I am sorry to say this, but the best way to approach these articles is to gather the sources, read them while taking notes, and then write a new article. It is actually easier than fixing text with sourcing this inaccurate.
