Hi there. I am disclosing a conflict of interest — I work for Go City, the subject of this article. In line with Wikipedia's COI guidelines I am submitting this as a requested edit rather than editing directly. The current page features out of date and inaccurate information. I am proposing a comprehensive update based on independently cited sources. The proposed new text is below, with all citations included.I have endeavoured to write in a neutral, encyclopaedic tone and have avoided promotional language throughout. I am happy to discuss any specific claims or citations if editors have concerns.

Go City, formerly Leisure Pass Group, is a British tourist attraction pass company founded in 1999[2][3] and headquartered in London.[4] The company sells digital passes that grant tourists bundled, discounted access to multiple attractions in 28 cities[5] spanning four continents.[3] Go City has over 7.5 million active users.[6]

History

Go City was originally founded as Leisure Pass Group in 1999 by Angus Rankine and Andrew Grahame.[2]

In 2012, the business was acquired in a management buy-out deal, backed by Primary Capital for £35 million.[7]

In October 2016, Exponent Private Equity, owner of Big Bus Tours, acquired Leisure Pass Group in a deal reported at approximately £150 million.[8][9] The deal brought Leisure Pass Group together with two other acquisitions, Smart Destinations and The New York Pass, creating a combined business described by trade press as the world's largest tourism attraction pass provider.[10] Leisure Pass Group rebranded as Go City in July 2021 to reflect a broader, digital-focused brand identity as the company expanded into additional markets.[3]

In 2024, Go City launched a partnership with Merlin Entertainments to add seven London attractions to its pass offerings including Madame Tussauds London, The London Eye and Legoland Windsor Resort.[11]

As of 2026, Go City is led by CEO Sean O'Connell.[1]

Products and destinations

Go City has sightseeing passes available in 28 destinations[5]: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Boston, Cancun, Chicago, Dubai, Dublin, Gothenburg, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Miami, New Orleans, New York, Oahu, Orlando, Paris, Philadelphia, Prague, Rome, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Singapore, Stockholm and Sydney.

The company offers four pass types[2]: The All-Inclusive Pass, The All-Inclusive Pass Plus, The Explorer Pass and The Essentials Pass.

The All-Inclusive Pass offers tourists unlimited attractions over a set number of consecutive days, with one, two, three, four, five, six, seven and ten day options.[12] The All-Inclusive Pass Plus is available in select destinations and features extra attractions.[5] The Explorer Pass allows tourists to select between two and ten attractions to visit over a 30-day period from first use.[12] The Essentials Pass allows a selection of three attraction choices from a smaller fixed line-up.[13]

To use any pass, tourists must download the Go City mobile app, sync their pass, and show it on entry to attractions. The Go City app also features an itinerary builder, attraction information and digital maps.[12]

Go City's sightseeing passes are also available under destination-specific brand names The London Pass, The New York Pass and The Paris Pass.[3]

I am following up on an edit request that I submitted on 28 April 2026 (Travel Enthusiast 20). I noted that Bearcat made a housekeeping correction to the submission on 1 May and wanted to check whether there are any outstanding concerns about the draft before it is reviewed for application to the article.

I am a COI contributor representing Go City and submitted a comprehensive page update via the Talk page in line with Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines.

The proposed update includes corrected company history, updated product information and expanded citation coverage from independent sources including The Daily Telegraph, Phocuswire, Companies House and Visit London among others.

I appreciate this is volunteer work and am grateful for any time editors can give to reviewing the submission. I am happy to discuss any specific concerns about the draft, individual citations or neutrality of tone before changes are applied.
