COI edit requests

Hi, I work for a communications firm that represents GlassPoint, and I have a few suggestions for improving and updating this article. Following the liquidation in May 2020, the company relaunched under new leadership and a lot of information in the article is outdated. Due to my COI I won’t be editing the article directly, but I am suggesting the following changes:

Correct the company name throughout the article

• Strike mentions of “Solar” from the company’s name. The company’s name is just “GlassPoint” now

Rewrite the first paragraph of the overview section to reflect the changes in the company following its relaunch, including new HQ location. My suggested text:

• GlassPoint's enclosed trough technology encloses lightweight, trough-shaped mirrors with piping in a standard agricultural greenhouse, concentrating the sun's energy to create steam. The company can play an important role in helping to decarbonize industrial facilities and help corporations reach net-zero commitments. GlassPoint’s technology is the only industrial decarbonization solution proven at scale. The company is based in New York, New York, with a global presence.

Add another paragraph to the overview section to reflect the latest developments post-liquidation. My suggested text:

• In June 2022, GlassPoint re-emerged under the leadership of the founding CEO, Rod MacGregor, adopting a new build-own-operate business model and unveiling an MOU for one of the largest solar projects in history with Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden Group). GlassPoint announced it has moved to a “steam as a service” model to reduce upfront risk and expanded its markets to include hard-to-abate industries producing materials essential to the energy transition, including mining, metals, and manufacturing.

Update the last sentence in the “Petroleum Development Oman” section to reflect the latest developments. My suggested text:

• Today, the first 330 MWt at Miraah are operating and meeting all performance targets.

Combine “Belridge Solar” and “Occidental Petroleum of Oman” sections and rename it as “Additional solar EOR projects”. Both of these projects were not completed due to financing so the information is no longer accurate. My suggested text for the section:

• In November 2017, Aera Energy and GlassPoint announced a joint project to create California's largest solar energy field. In November 2018, GlassPoint and Occidental Petroleum of Oman signed an agreement to cooperate on a solar thermal project to facilitate oil production on an oilfield in the Sultanate of Oman. Neither deal was completed due to financing issues.

Add another section following “Additional solar EOR Project”, name it “Ma’aden Solar I” My suggested text for the section:  

• In June 2022, Glasspoint and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden Group) signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") to develop the world's largest solar process steam plant in Ras al Khair, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. When complete, the 1,500 MWth facility will reduce Ma’aden’s carbon emissions by over 600,000 tons annually, nearly 4% of Ma'aden's overall carbon footprint, bringing the company closer to its mandate of carbon neutrality by 2050.

Add a visual with text underneath to the “Ma’aden Solar I” section. My suggested image and text are below

Remove the entirety of “In-country value” section. These projects and initiatives were announced but were never executed against.
