[edit]

This pages clearly needs a rewrite - the whole text looks messy (covering graph theory and postal boxes.) Suggestions are welcome! Stdazi (talk) 11:17, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I separated the graph theory and postal box content, creating Girth (graph theory) to cover the math. What's left, I kept on the disambig page. It's not much more than a definition, though. I'm thinking the definition should be removed, and all links to girth that don't refer to Girth (tack) or Girth (graph theory) should be unlinked. ~ Booya Bazooka 04:21, 29 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Splitting it out like this seems ok to me. I added a little more to the graph theory article. I'm happy to leave the postal definition here, though: it's a mildly interesting factoid that (with the reference to Canada post) goes a little farther than a dicdef but seems difficult to expand into its own article. It's not really covered well by our wiktionary entry for girth, either. —David Eppstein (talk) 06:27, 29 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
