Gingipain mentioned

[edit]

See an article from 23 January 2019 in the New Scientist. See also a press release from a company named Cortexyme (24 October 2018) which is developing what seems to be a gingipain blocker (COR-388) and is planning a clinical trial. There is said to be a connection of gingipain with Alzheimers. At present we have no article on Cortexyme, but its name is mentioned as a recipient of a grant from the Thiel Foundation in our article on Breakout Labs.
