Recent news from Gigs and embedded connectivity

[edit]

I am an employee of Gigs, and will not attempt to edit. I would like the article to be updated with recent news on strategic partnerships and the uptick in embedded connectivity.

Add to History:

In 2024, Gigs entered a partnership with Vodafone to enable UK tech firms to embed connectivity in their platforms.

In 2025, Gigs and AT&T announced a strategic alliance to embed connectivity directly into consumer apps, signaling a shift in how major carriers acquire new subscribers.

In 2025, Revolut, Walmart's OnePay, and LATAM airlines announced new embedded eSIM products powered by Gigs. 9pointbird (talk) 12:30, 29 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Partly done: @9pointbird: Most of the information was already present in the article under a neutral tone, but I did add the references that would strengthen the notability and verifiability of this article. For the information on Gigs' eSIM product, I did add the sentence (albeit through different wording), but I left out the information on its use with Revolut, since the references referred to it in passing mention (see WP:SIRS for more details). — Alex26337 (talk) 04:40, 18 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Promotional Tone and Conflict of Interest (COI)

[edit]

I have added the Multiple Issues template to the main article for the following reasons:

Promotional Language: The article reads like a B2B corporate marketing deck rather than an encyclopedic entry. It uses marketing buzzwords like "MVNO in a box" and includes promotional claims directly from company PR, such as "designed to reduce customer support overhead by up to 95%".

Likely COI/Paid Editing: The text meticulously tracks every single corporate partnership, angel investor, and funding round chronological milestone up to 2026. This hyper-detailed, press-release style of updating strongly implies that a connected contributor or PR firm is maintaining the page.

This article needs a heavy cleanup to remove investor name-dropping and condense the long list of customer integrations into a brief, neutral summary. Alrathai (talk) 01:37, 12 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
