Who owns the term?

The term is now also being used to describe AI "gigafactories" which are essentially extremely large supercomputers that include specialized processors for AI model training. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2025/apr/09/eu-to-build-ai-gigafactories-20bn-push-catch-up-us-china. Not just batteries, maybe never

Tesla Gigafactory 2, 3 and 6 don't make batteries. And how large is ”large scale” in 2022, when I write this? Noone builds small scale battery cell factories anymore. --gnirre (talk) 13:07, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
