Nationality

[edit]

This person has been in the USA since they were 5 years old, hold US citizenship and were not notable in India. MOS:NATIONALITY gives an example of such a case where a person, who immigrated as a child and continued to hold citizenship

The second example is someone who emigrated as a child and continued to identify as a citizen of their adopted country:

Isaac Asimov (c. January 2, 1920 – April 6, 1992) was an American writer

Per the above guidance, we do not add ethnicity ("Jewish-American") or country of birth ("Russian-born American"). These details can be introduced in the second sentence if they are of defining importance.

Therefor I believe in this case, the notation given by MOS:NATIONALITY be followed. Jfklesdjfipuj (talk) 11:08, 7 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Furthermore her ethnicity is not as relevant to her position and India does not permit dual citizenship therefore "Indian-Born American" should be changed to just "American". Jfklesdjfipuj (talk) 11:09, 7 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
