I suspect much or all of this article has been c&p-ed from elsewhere. In particular the "(pictured below)" in the "similar instruments" paragraph looks like this text was copied from elsewhere (where they also have pictures) and not vice versa.

I have no idea where to look if this has maybe been copied with permmission.
besides, the whole "former exponents" paragraph - errm, wtf? Does it really need to be in this article? If so, please someone rewrite it.
