Discussion on the location
[edit]The passage "although there are some difficulties with this argument, given that Al-Ahsa is 60 km inland and thus less likely to be the starting point for a trader's route" objects against Al-Janabi's theory on the location of Gerrha. However, the statement of the contemporary geographer Strabo that Gerrha is located 200 stadia inland, or almost 40 km, substantially weakens the objection, or what do you think?
