[edit]Following up on the anonymous IP contributions about mining in this area, here is a good source I found last night about all kinds of things to do with this area. Still need to find out more about James Germansen, who's also mentioned on the Omineca Gold Rush article, and is this place's namesake.Skookum1 (talk) 01:02, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

From reading the Omineca Gold Rush article, it appears that "Germansen" (as this place was also known) became known as Omineca City...I'll have to find the page cite for that, I think, before adding it to the article, likewise James Germansen.Skookum1 (talk) 01:02, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
