This made sense when Vice Presidents would die in office and the office would fall vacant until the next election, but why does Wikipedia choose to display "None" and then the 3-4 months it took them to get confirmed? Supreme Court Justices and their vacancies aren't listed this way, even though they can also be lengthy affairs. Nickeleh (talk) 18:02, 12 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
Listing "None" in the infobox for the months prior to Rockefeller's confirmation seems appropriate to me. For what it's worth, Nixon's infobox has the same for the months prior to Ford's confirmation, which of course was the only other VP vacancy post-25th amendment. As currently written, the paragraph that starts with "Ford had three younger half-siblings from the second marriage..." does not mentioned the name of his step-mother and the sentence implied that Ford's biological father, Leslie King Sr., married Ford's half-sister Marjorie King (1921–1993). This sentence needs to be rewritten to avoid these problems.
