My self-promo radar is going off. All the references are from the bio himself.

I've given it a copy edit, wkfy format and more neutral language, but the material all comes from self-published and self-referential sources including the website. It doesn't add anything to other new-age spiritual self-help books (the immortality thing is a wonder in itself), except that this is a registered psychiatrist doing it. I also question why this person is a notable pioneer when the therapist he took the method from doesn't have an article. It just doesn't seem notable and I would support delete if it comes to that.

For the reasons that the bio'ee has taken ideas already in play what makes his stuff distinctive? The findings seem inconclusive.

I agree 100% - the article still has reference and notability problems as you describe. I will leave a message on the creator's talk page and ask that he stops by to comment. – ukexpat (talk) 16:03, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, but the writing is still not encyclopedic. It's best to avoid giving the subject so much say in an article and try to paraphrase the information. Suggest changing from this: "He is best known for his book ‘’Healing Visualizations,’’ in which he provides imagery exercises that readers can use to treat more than 75 ailments, thus enabling them, Epstein maintains, to take “an ‘’active’’ part” in their “health and in getting well.” to:

"His best-known book Healing Visualizations aims to help people heal themselves through using visualization techniques."

However, this is not new and it's still not notable. Notability is not gained by saying "he has become prominent". The work he does and the third party reviews etc should speak for him.
