[edit]Purportedly Beryl and Gerald Chan have two sons:
- Ashley L. Chan - runs ice cream store and Japanese restaurant in Harvard Square[1] We don't say that this is a curious name for a son; in some places this person is known as 'Ash'.
- Evan W. Chan - in Evanston, Illinois, born c. 1983
However, we ALSO read that Beryl and Gerald Chan have a daughter named Ashley.[2]
Perhaps Beryl and Gerald have only two children (rather than three), and one child is a daughter (Ashley), and the other child is a younger son, Evan. MaynardClark (talk) 03:53, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
Controversy Harvard Square
[edit]I think the issue of him allowing all his Harvard Square properties to deteriorate is an important thing to add. He allowed the famous movie theater to deteriorate and then yet still bought six other properties. All vacant.
